Heart of Leviathan is a tactical ship to ship engagement simulation set in World War One. Each player takes control of individual semi-historical WWI warships in an effort to reign supreme on the High Seas - er - game table... Choose your colors: The British Grand Fleet or the German High Seas Fleet. Can you command the Battle Squadrons as Jellico, Beatty, Scheer or Hipper did? Could you do better?
Battleships, Dreadnoughts, Battle Cruisers, Cruisers and more face off to pound their opponents into submission. You can equip your ships to take advantage of Leadership and technological advances – BUT – some refits can come at a cost... And be forewarned, your opponent has the same goal in mind...
Designed for two or more players to engage in a turn swapping fist fight on a 36" by 36" game table (or larger) that requires both planning and cunning. Do you close the range with your Leviathans in order to bring every gun to bear - or - do you stand off at arms length and rely on plunging fire from your heavy rifles to penetrate a lightly armored deck that can sink your opponent with one volley?
It's all up to you... Build your squadron to your own specifications for each engagement....
Will you be victorious or have to retire and report to the Admiralty as British Admiral Beatty did during the Battle of Jutland:
"There seems to be something wrong with our bloody ships today"
